16-19 Tuition Funding

The 16 to 19 Tuition Fund

Total funding for 2021-22: £1971

What is the purpose of the fund?

In 2021-22, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has provided funding to support 16 to 19 students disadvantaged by disruption arising from COVID-19.

In line with the guidance we are using the funding to support tuition for students in English, maths and other subjects. We are targeting the students who have not yet achieved a grade 4 in GCSE in English and/or maths. Alongside identified disadvantaged students who need extra support due to covid disruption.

This funding will support small group tuition by specialist teachers for maths, English and other identified academic subjects.

How will we measure the impact of the fund?

The impact will be measured through analysis of the external examination results and other ongoing progress measures up to this final point of assessment.
