KS4 Weekly Bulletin
11th May 2020
Dear Parents, Carers and young people,
I hope that you have had a chance to read Mr Waugh’s letter that he published on Friday, you can find it here: https://www.phs.cheshire.sch.uk/attachments/download.asp?file=1592&type=pdf
As Mr Waugh mentioned, we as a school are working to roll out Google Classrooms and are really keen to have some strengthened links across our school community to help the learning process of our young people.
If your home circumstances have changed you might be eligible for free school meals. Follow the link to find out more information: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/schools/free_school_meals.aspx
It has been wonderful to see so many of our school community creating #PHSRocks, why not get involved: https://www.phs.cheshire.sch.uk/attachments/download.asp?file=1587&type=pdf
You may have already seen on Twitter, our PE team are challenging the school community to Run 5K and Donate £5 to the NHS. Even if you aren’t the best at running (like me) have a go and challenge yourself: https://www.phs.cheshire.sch.uk/attachments/download.asp?file=1591&type=pdf
My challenge today has been for our young people to create a plan for the week ahead; it can feel daunting as we move in to another week of lock down, remote working, and being away from our family and friends. It is so important now more than ever to set yourself goals and create structure. But remember, challenge yourself to find something new you enjoy during this time!
Stay safe, keep learning and look after yourselves and your families,
Mrs R. Dempsey
Director of Learning to Key Stage 4
